I have found more crap sites to add to the host files. I combined all the info I could find and checked to ensure the entries resolve as well as stripping out the duplicates. There is no way of knowing if their site is still operational and they are still adware / spyware oriented. The latest host file increased the size from 170k to 486k and the amount of sleeze bag sites from 5k to over 13000.
So far there has been only one instance of something I needed being in the list. It was server.iad.liveperson.net. I don't know what they do to your computer, but optionsXpress uses them to answer questions. I have used them before and they were a big help. I have removed that entry from the master list. |
