Cracking laptop admin password {Don't know where I found this, I have not tried it}

If you want to see waht's on the HD. Get a copy of NT workstation and
install it to a different directory then the current install. Once the
new version is installed you won the machine. If you want to change the
password for the old install, just replace the WINLOGON.EXE in the old
installation dir with the MUSRMGR.EXE file. Both these files are in the
c:\winnt\system32 by default. When the machine reboots the User Manager
program will load instead of the login program. You will then be free to
change any password you want.

If you have physical Access to the machine it shouldn't be any problem
hacking into it.
